Summary
As a Communications Manager, Elle Cumberbatch implements and supports EduDream’s external and internal communications and marketing efforts. Elle grew up on the north side of Chicago, between Andersonville and Uptown. She is a Chicago Public Schools alumna who experienced the power of culturally responsive teaching in her English and Civics classes. These experiences led her to seek out a career that utilizes communication as a tool to uplift and center marginalized voices to make a sustainable impact within education.

Previous Experience
Elle has experience in digital communications, content creation, and editorial workflows. Before joining EduDream, she was a Communications Specialist at the Department of Social Science and Civic Engagement within Chicago Public Schools. In this role, Elle enhanced community relations through communication and marketing channels. Additionally, she has experience with portfolio management in the publishing sector, as well as youth programming within the non-profit sector.
