History

The EduDream story

Michelle Oliva and Monica Martinez are equity-driven researchers and daughters of immigrants. The founding story of EduDream begins with two friends who met during college, stayed in touch after graduation, and found themselves wanting to leverage their lived experiences and expertise to rewrite the educational opportunities and learning experiences of racially and economically diverse students.

Established in 2016, EduDream is a Latina-founded and certified minority-and-women-owned (M/WBE) research consulting firm serving clients nationally with offices in Chicago and Texas. Originating in Chicago, EduDream was born to disrupt systemic inequities in education by leading equity-focused research and strategy.
