Summary

Dee Vines supports day-to-day administrative and operational work and contributes to EduDream’s advancement of educational equity as Operations Assistant. Dee grew up on the south side of Washington, D.C, and is both an alumna of DC Public Schools and a first-generation college graduate. Because she knows firsthand how access to culturally responsive education can impact quality of life, Dee is committed to supporting equity-centered and community-focused education initiatives.

Education

  •  BA in Media Studies from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro

Previous Experience

Dee has over five years of experience as an administrative professional. Prior to joining EduDream, she contributed to program operations, community engagement initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at various nonprofit organizations, like the Field Museum. Her experience also includes working in higher education, where she supported first-generation college students at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro’s Office of Student Retention.
