Findings were then used to design and pilot a program that targeted and was responsive to student and family needs in the three communities of East Chicago, Gary, and Hammond in Northwest Indiana.

Project Impact:

BSF used the needs assessment findings to fund the communities’ schools access to technology, classroom resources, and educator coaching, as well as initiatives to increase student enrollment and financial support for families.
